  I just wanted to thank you for the fabulous Sligh Lowry desk. Your woodworkers did an amazing job refinishing it in exactly the stain we discussed and it is just perfect in my home office. My interior decorator (Ilene April) was just telling me that she had another client buying dining room chairs from you and she had sent custom fabric to you to have them reupholstered. She wants to come in one day and see your shop and I have another friend in the city interested as well. Original Condition: The piece you are looking at is being sold exactly as we found it, with no work being done on it by our restoration team. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, which means we can ship it to you much faster and the reduced workload on our team is reflected in the lower price. When you see this label, always be sure to check the Condition Notes box which will contain any special details our team wants you to be aware of before purchasing.

Restoration Available: The piece is available both in the "Original Condition" state described above OR if you are willing to pay extra for restoration work, you can add it to your purchase using a checkbox located inside the green box near the "Add to Cart" button. When you purchase a piece with restoration added on, we first carefully clean and inspect it. If during inspection we discover a door or drawer isn't functioning properly, find water marks and visible scratches with color loss (usually on the top surface) or veneer chips, our Master Restoration Team carefully restores the surfaces using tried and true techniques with the original colors and finishes used by the manufacturer (the same way it was made) so you get an original MCM piece without the disappointment of bad 3rd party refinishing or undisclosed hidden problems. In some situations when we get the exact same piece back in stock that we've had before, we will use photos from a previous shoot. In these situations, the piece you get will be in the same (often better) condition than the photos.
